Here in Boston
For those of you who are blissfuly ignorant, I am spending my summer in Boston, doing an internship at Adobe. Currently I’m residing in Dover, in a beautiful country house belonging to friends/relatives of my parents, but soon I’ll be moving downtown
I purchased a new camera, a Canon XSi (450D) which is awesome and here you can see a sampler of my photos (click image for full photoset):

Tasting menu dinner
Last night we had a tasting menu dinner, 11 courses (4 appetizers, 4 entrees and 3 deserts) chowed down by 9 diners. It was excellent and a fitting culmination of our culinary adventures, just as Uri and Tamar are leaving for greener pastures. The full set here.

Coming soon to Boston, MA
As some of you (i.e some of the world’s population) might know, I’m leaving soon, on July 15th to be exact to Boston. I’ll be there for three months, interning at Adobe. Specifically I’ll be working with Dr. Shai Avidan on some research projects in machine learning and image processing.
Lilach and Shachar will join me for the month of August, and we’ll all attend Marc and Wolly’s wedding together, huzzah!

Springtime
Somehow its already June. How did that happen? Where did May go?
The last two months have kind of rushed by, Shachar has been growing daily, and other than that… not a lot.
In a month and a half I’m off to Boston to work for the summer which should be an experience.

You gotta see Da Baby!
I know I haven’t wrote anything in a long while, but I have a good excuse - baby. Right below you can see Shachar, my eldest daughter and the creature that keeps me and Lilach up nights. For more pictures on Flickr see here

My adventures with Sourdough
The new baking stone has definitely brought on a new age of Sourdough breads. I’ve been making Peter Reinhart’s basic sourdough bread once or twice a week for over a month now. I’ve pretty much got the process down now, and the breads are coming out yummier every week.
I am going to branch out soon now, try other types of Sourdough bread (Pumpernickel is high on the list). I also got Peter Reinhart’s newest book (whole grain breads), and although scary I think I’ll try to make some.
